Kozhikode: A complaint has been lodged against Dr. Robin of Kottaparamb Hospital in Kozhikode, accusing him of insulting nurses by using their caste names. According to the complaint, Dr. Robin displayed rude behaviour towards the nurses in the presence of patients and inquired about their castes.
Following this incident, Dr. Robin reportedly entered the nurses’ office, creating a disturbance and attempting to abuse the nursing staff. Although the investigation into the complaint has been concluded, the nursing superintendent is hesitating to submit the report or take further action against the doctor.
The Kerala Government Nurses Association (KGNA) has raised concerns and accused the nursing superintendent of shielding Dr. Robin from consequences. KGNA has also warned of massive protests if the investigation report is not handed over by Monday afternoon.
