Sabarimala Devaswom employees raise complaints on insufficient food and water supply

Pathanamthitta: Employees on duty at Sabarimala, working under the Devaswom Board, have raised concerns about insufficient food and water supplies. Approximately 100 workers from various districts are reportedly facing difficulties as they claim to receive only rasam and a curry for lunch each day, and they also claim that the distribution of curry and rasam is also limited. The employees alleged that the delay in the auction process to purchase essential items for the mess is said to be the primary reason for the crisis.

Despite the High Court approving a specific food menu for Sabarimala employees, the Devaswom Board supplies food to the employees that is unrelated to the approved menu.

Earlier, contract workers raised complaints about the lack of basic facilities at Sabarimala. They reported to  Janam TV that they don’t even get sufficient drinking water.
