Kochi: Gold worth Rupees 2 crore was discovered abandoned on an IndiGo flight that arrived at Nedumbassery from Bahrain. It was concealed in a mixed form within three packages and was found in the aircraft’s washroom. Approximately 3.285 kg of gold have been recovered. The authorities launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Customs officials seized 3.12 kg of gold in a separate incident the previous day. The gold was seized from Abdul Hameed, a resident of Feroke, Kozhikode. The smuggled gold was concealed in clothing such as pants and underwear.
