Kozhikode: As part of the Nava Kerala Sadas, it is instructed to light lamps in houses. The authorities of Purameri panchayat have advised residents of the panchayat to light lamps in their homes. Instructions were given to light lamps in houses today at 6.30 p.m. This initiative is part of the scheduled Nava Kerala Sadas at Memunda tomorrow at 3 p.m.

At the same time, the Koyilandy municipal secretary issued a notice in anticipation of the Nava Kerala Sadas scheduled for the 25th in Koyilandy. The directive suggests that all institutions within the Koyilandy municipality should be lit with electric lamps from today until the event. Additionally, institutions are instructed to clean their fronts and premises in preparation for the program. The notice was in the names of the municipal secretary and chairperson.

At the same time, controversy has erupted concerning a directive issued by the district panchayat president. The president dispatched a letter to department heads at the Kozhikode Civil Station, requesting the mobilisation of employees for the Chief Minister’s program. This action faced criticism from the employees’ union, which pointed out that the president’s directive is illegal.
