Thiruvananthapuram: The ongoing investigation into the abduction of a six-year-old girl in Oyoor, Kollam, has expanded its reach into neighbouring districts, with the police actively conducting inquiries in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram. The current focus is on the Shastri Nagar area, with plans for subsequent investigations in Chirakkara and Varkala.
The white car linked to the case remains a key point in the investigation. Reports say that the police have received additional CCTV footage, revealing the presence of a white car with the number plate KL 04 AF 3239 passing in front of the house at 4:43 p.m. Inspections are reportedly underway at various rent-a-car establishments in Thiruvananthapuram.
Moreover, there are indications that the owner of the car and two other individuals taken into custody by the investigation team may potentially be released.
