Kochi: In response to the upcoming Nava Kerala Sadas event, a holiday has been announced for schools in three constituencies of Ernakulam district. Today, schools in Angamaly, Aluva, and Paravur constituencies will remain closed. Additionally, tomorrow, schools in Ernakulam, Vypin, Kochi, and Kalamassery constituencies will also observe a holiday.
The district administration justifies this decision as a measure to prevent inconvenience caused by potential traffic congestion during the Nava Kerala Sadas event. To mitigate any academic impact, classes will be conducted on an alternate holiday.
Meanwhile, Kozhikode district is also observing a school holiday today to conduct the Revenue District School Art Festival. This holiday extends to VHSE and Higher Secondary schools as well.
