Sabarimala witnesses slight relief in crowd; additional bus services started to address devotees’ concerns

Pathanamthitta: Following five days of heavy crowds at Sabarimala, there is a slight alleviation today, bringing some relief to devotees. However, challenges persist for pilgrims boarding KSRTC buses from Nilakkal to Pampa. In response, additional bus services have been initiated between Nilakkal and Pamba to better manage the crowd.

The High Court has taken Suo Motu cognizance of the crowd control situation at Sabarimala, and the case will be reviewed today. The focus is on evaluating the current conditions and government measures. The High Court will scrutinize parking details at Nilakkal, with the RTEO of Pathanamthitta directed to submit a report on the parking lot’s capacity. These issues will be deliberated upon in today’s High Court session.
