MALAPPURAM: The Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav, held at Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University in Tirur, has concluded. The programme was organized by the Higher Education Department of the Government of India, aimed to promote regional languages in the country.
From September 28 to December 11, the Central Government celebrated the Bharateeya language festival. The final three days saw numerous seminars and workshops at Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University, emphasizing the encouragement of regional languages.
Several experts deliberated on the significance of learning regional languages, with key programs led by experts from the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru. At the Malayalam University in Tirur, seminars focused on encouraging research in the Malayalam language.
Students who attended expressed that such festivals greatly energize them with pride and confidence in learning the Malayalam language.
