Palakkad: An infant death was reported from Attappadi in Palakkad district. The deceased infant was the child of Parvathi Dhanush from Puthur, Kurukathikall Ooru (a tribal settlement). The baby boy was just 74 days old.
The baby’s weight at birth was only 1.54 kilograms. The mother and child were receiving treatment at Thrissur Medical College Hospital and had returned home last week, after which the baby died.
