Palakkadu: A joint inspection by the Municipal Health Department and the Food Safety Department in Pattambi has led to the seizure of 100 kg of stale fish from various fish markets. The officials, conducting inspections, also seized stale food during the search at various hotels in Pattambi.
Yesterday, 36 samples were collected from seven fish wholesale shops in Pattambi for testing. The results indicated that a significant number of these shops were indeed selling stale fish. Subsequently, authorities conducted thorough searches in multiple fish markets and hotels, uncovering more than 100kg of stale fish.
