Thiruvananthapuram: Another person died in a bike accident in Thumba. The deceased, identified as Arafan (22), a native of Vadakkumbhagam in Kazhakkoottam, passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital. The accident occurred in front of St. Xavier’s College, Thumba, around midnight on Saturday.

Arafan’s bike collided with another bike. Unnikuttan (35), a native of Alappuzha who was a passenger on the opposite bike, passed away yesterday while undergoing treatment at the medical college hospital. The vehicle was being driven by Unnikuttan’s friend, Prince, who is currently in critical condition and undergoing treatment.

Kazhakkoottam Police reached the scene and took the injured to the Medical College Hospital, but Unnikuttan’s life could not be saved. Unnikuttan was a senior accountant at a private ice cream company located at Kinfra Park in Kazhakkoottam.
