THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The renowned Stunt Master Jolly Bastian (57), who predominantly worked in the South Indian film industry, has passed away.
Jolly Bastian was admitted to Vandanam Medical College Hospital in Alappuzha due to chest pain but succumbed to a heart attack, yesterday evening.
Born in Alappuzha, Kerala, he was brought up in Bengaluru. He had arrived in Alappuzha last week to celebrate the Christmas occasion.
Some of the popular Malayalam movies he worked on as a Stunt Director include ‘Masterpiece,’ ‘Kammatipaadam,’ ‘Angamaly Diaries,’ ‘Operation Java,’ and ‘Thankam.’ ‘Kannur Squad’ stands as his final film. Additionally, he portrayed the role of a villain in the movie ‘Silence.’
