Pathanamthitta: A Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus caught fire in Pamba, with no reported casualties in the incident. Officials from KSRTC indicated that the cause of the fire was a short circuit. The officers from the fire station near the bus depot in Pamba arrived and extinguished the flames.
The bus was burned for approximately 10 minutes, causing substantial damage, with about three-quarters of the seats burned. The affected vehicle was identified as a Nilakkal-Pamba shuttle service bus. In response to the incident, the DPO has ordered an inquiry to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.
