Devotees dismiss allegations on PM Modi’s visit to Guruvayur temple, says security measures at the temple didn’t disrupt their worship

Thrissur: Devotees at Guruvayur temple reported that the security arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the temple didn’t interfere with their worship experience. Pilgrims expressed satisfaction, stating that they were able to worship Lord Krishna without any inconvenience, and wedding ceremonies proceeded as scheduled. The only disappointment voiced by devotees was their inability to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Despite rumours suggesting that, weddings at Guruvayur temple would be postponed because of PM Modi’s visit, devotees made it clear that no such changes in schedule happened in the temple. The Guruvayur Devaswom Administrator, KP Vinayan, firmly stated that not a single wedding was postponed due to the Prime Minister’s visit.

Vinayan had clarified earlier that the temple authorities did not tell anyone to postpone their weddings due to the Prime Minister’s visit, emphasizing that such claims were inaccurate.
