Kannur: Seva Bharati in Koothuparambu organized a foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of a new home for Cheruvanchery native, Ramani. Living in dire conditions with her two daughters in an uninhabitable house near Poovathur bridge, the family’s plight caught the attention of Seva Bharati Patiam unit.

The Seva Bharati Patiam unit took a noble decision to build a two-bedroom house spanning 650 square feet on the land owned by Ramani. The family had been facing hardship following the passing of Ramani’s husband, Komath Raveendran. Ramani had been tirelessly seeking various work opportunities to sustain her family.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by members from Seva Bharati Patiam unit including president K Sasidharan, RSS Koothuparambu Khand Karyavah Shinil Shankar, Patiam Grama Panchayat member N Reena, CK Suresh, RV Sasidharan, Harish Illoli, C Aravindan Master, and others.
