Ernakulam: Kochi City Police take action against gangsters in the city. Police reported that over 50 individuals, including gang mafia members, habitual criminals, drug dealers, and absconders, have been arrested in a top-secret special drive within Kochi city limits over the last two days.
The Kochi police initiated this special drive in response to numerous complaints from various sources regarding increased crime rates, including drug dealing in the city. The police had received information that criminal gangs from various parts of the state had entered Kochi, engaging in violence and public nuisance activities. The police raid lasted until 10 am today.
City police have stated that details related to the special drive will be released soon.
