Kottayam: A Pakistani citizen, Taimur Tariq, is set to visit his wife’s residence in Kerala. Taimur Tariq has completed the visa application process to travel to his wife’s hometown in Puthuppally, Kottayam district. Taimur Tariq, accompanied by his wife Sreeja, is scheduled to arrive in Kerala tomorrow.
This visit marks Taimur Tariq’s second trip to Kerala. As a businessman based in Sharjah, he made his first visit during the 2023 Onam season to their newly constructed house in Puthuppally. However, during the Puthuppally by-election, authorities denied him permission to visit the area. Subsequently, Taimur Tariq spend time in Kodungallur, Thrissur district, and returned back.
The couple, Taimur Tariq and Sreeja Gopal, first connected through social media, and they got married in 2018.
