Ernakulam: A twenty year old youth, native of Kumbalam in Ernakulam district was brutally killed and plunged into marsh area near Nettur North railway track. Arjun, son of M S Vidyan was murdered and his four friends were taken under custody.
Arjun’s father had submitted a complaint about the missing of his son, at Panangad police station. Arjun’s friends Roni and Nipin’s names were mentioned in that complaint. Accused have close link with drug mafia,report says. Four youths have been arrested yet.
Arjun’s body was found on Wednesday evening in swamp land under concrete slabs.Police says Arjun’s friend’s suspicion led to this murder. One of the accused had doubted that Arjun was behind the death of his brother and this suspicion resulted in the heinous crime, police informed. Arjun went missing on July 2 and his body was taken from marsh area today morning.
Vidyan, Arjun’s father alleged that police did not made proper inquiry in this issue. In fact, police started probe only after habeas corpus was filed at High Court on Wednesday. Arjun’s father added that police asked him to conduct inquiry of his own.
