Kochi: The complainant in the sexual assault case against Adv. BA Aloor has come forward with further allegations, claiming that Rs 3 lakhs were allegedly taken from her by Adv. Aloor with the promise of expediting her property case. The complainant, a permanent resident of Bangalore, has faced delays in her property case at the district court for several months. She stated that due to her inability to regularly attend hearings in native place, Adv. Aloor suggested settling the case swiftly by paying off the judge and the police.
The woman revealed that she made two payments totaling Rs 3 lakh as instructed by the advocate. The woman filed a complaint with the Bar Council, seeking redress. The Bar Council Chairman said that the woman’s complaint would be examined during the next general council meeting.
This latest development follows the woman’s previous complaint to the police, accusing Adv. Aloor of attempting to sexually assault her at his office. In response to the initial complaint, the High Court temporarily stayed Aloor’s arrest and requested a police report, acknowledging Aloor’s petition claiming the complaint was fabricated.
