Thiruvananthapuram: Four Indian astronauts are set to participate in the Gaganyaan mission, which is a significant one for Bharat to take humans to space. Reports are coming in that one among the four on this mission is a Malayali. Their names will be announced tomorrow when the Prime Minister arrives in Thiruvananthapuram. It is reported that the astronauts on the Gaganyaan mission are now carrying out their training in Bharat.
Gaganyaan is Bharat’s first space mission to take humans to space. With the completion of the launch, Bharat will become the fourth country in the world to send a man into space after the United States, Russia and China. ISRO Chairman S. Somnath had earlier informed that Gaganyan will be launched by the end of this year.
