New Delhi: Mohammad Ghous Niazi, a Popular Front terrorist, has been captured in South Africa for his involvement in the murder of RSS Karyakarta Rudresh in Bengaluru. Niazi, the prime suspect in the case, had fled to South Africa following the incident. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had placed a bounty of Rs 5 lakh on his head.
The arrest comes after diligent efforts by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad, which had been closely monitoring Niazi’s activities. Acting on crucial intelligence regarding his whereabouts, the investigative agency successfully apprehended him in South Africa.
