Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a much-needed respite from the scorching heat with the forecast of light rain in Alappuzha and Kottayam districts today and tomorrow. However, alongside this relief, a high temperature warning has been issued for six districts.
Palakkad, Kollam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Thrissur, and Kasaragod districts have been placed under a high temperature warning, with a yellow alert issued for all six. Temperatures are expected to soar two to four degrees Celsius above normal levels. authorities advised caution among people.
