Palakkad: An attempt has been made to involve the elderly in the LDF’s campaign program under the guise of a pensioners’ meeting. The incident occurred in Kavilpad, Palakkad.
The elderly were instructed by CPI(M) workers to bring their Aadhaar and pension lists to receive their pensions. Upon hearing this, the elderly rushed to the spot, with some even neglecting their jobs. However, upon arrival, they realized they were being deceived. When it became clear that it was an election campaign by the Left, the elderly protested.
