Thiruvananthapuram: As the Lok Sabha elections approach, individuals have until the 25th of this month to apply for inclusion in the electoral roll. Eligible applicants must attain 18 years of age by April 1, 2024. Applications can be submitted through the Booth Level Officer (BLO), Election Commission’s NVSP Portal, or the Voter Helpline App.
Previously, only those who reached 18 by January 1 were considered, but exemptions were made following the election announcement. The window for rectifications, exclusion of deceased individuals, and changes of residence closed on Saturday.
