Thiruvananthapuram: The state has witnessed a significant increase in gold prices today, reaching an all-time high price once again. The price of one sovereign gold rose by Rs 360, bringing the market rate to Rs 48,640. This surge comes after a decrease of Rs 200 in gold prices recorded yesterday.
Meanwhile, 22-carat gold saw a rise of Rs 42 per gram, now priced at Rs 6,080. Similarly, the price of 18-carat gold has increased by Rs 34 per gram, reaching Rs 4,974.
Furthermore, silver price remained stable, with the market price of common silver holding steady at Rs 80 per gram. Hallmark silver maintained its price at Rs 103 per gram.
