However, there has been no reports of any casualty or injury. Rocket sirens wailed in the town of Sderot and the communities of Ibim and Kibbutz Or Haner, reported The Times Of Israel.
At least one rocket hit an open area outside Sderot and started a small fire, Hebrew media reported.
After the confirmation of the launch of rockets toward Israeli territory, the IDF issued an update on Twitter. It said that Israeli officials retaliated against the strike, targeting a number of Hamas locations.
Earlier tonight, 5 rockets were fired from #Gaza to #Israel.
In response, we just struck a number of Hamas targets in northern Gaza.

The exchange of fire came hours after two Palestinian teens were reportedly killed in clashes with Israeli troops along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel, in what the IDF called “especially violent” riots.
