Washington: A consignment of hydroxychloroquine from India arrived at the Newark airport on Saturday.
India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu tweeted, “Supporting our partners in the fight against #Covid19. Consignment of hydroxichloroquine from India arrived at Newark airport today.”

Earlier, this week, President Donald Trump had extended his gratitude to India for relaxing restrictions on the export of the anti-malarial drug, deemed to be useful to combat coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths in the United States have surpassed the tally of Italy on Saturday with at least 20,506 lives losing to the battle. The country recorded 1,920 deaths over the past 24 hours.
