Washington: The United States saw its highest death toll in the last 24 hours with 4,491 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
With this, the total deaths in the United States have reached 32,917 on Thursday.
But the figure likely includes “probable” deaths related to COVID-19, which were not previously included.
US has recorded the highest coronavirus deaths in the world, followed by Italy with 22,170 dead although its population is just a fifth of that of the US.
