Canberra: The authorities of a city council in Australia have cancelled a Khalistan propaganda event planned in Sydney’s Blacktown City. The event planned by ‘Sikhs for Justice’ (SFJ) organization was cancelled today morning as hundreds of complaints were raised against them.
The event was supposed to be held at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope. The authorities informed that they cancelled the program following concerns of the employees and the public. They also added that they are investigating about SFJ organization.
Australian authorities have announced that they will take strict action against those who vandalise Hindu temples in the country. Over the past few months, attackers have been vandalizing Hindu temples in Australia by writing pro-Khalistan slogans and anti-India graffiti on the walls. Australia’s High Commissioner Barry O’Farrell said that strict measures will be taken against this.
India had earlier condemned the vandalisation of Hindu temples in Australia and said the matter has been raised with the Australian government in Canberra and asked for an expeditious investigation against the perpetrators.
