Washington: As reported earlier, the discovery of a suspicious white powder, which was later revealed to be cocaine, made the White House undergo a temporary evacuation over the weekend while President Joe Biden was at Camp David. Coincidentally, information has surfaced that Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, was present at the White House just before the incident occurred. Hunter Biden has been associated with various controversies, including allegations related to drug use and corruption.

According to media reports, Hunter Biden, who has been candid about his cocaine addiction in the past, was at the White House on Friday before leaving for Camp David with his father for the holiday weekend. The publication noted that the suspicious substance was found in the residence’s library on Sunday.

Officials familiar with the matter revealed that Secret Service agents discovered the white powder during their regular rounds on Sunday. The substance was located in an area accessible to tour groups rather than in a specific office within the West Wing.

As a precautionary measure, at around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, the complex was evacuated while fire and emergency crews swiftly tested the suspicious powder. Preliminary test results indicated that the substance was likely cocaine. Subsequently, the White House was reopened, and the powder was sent for further testing.

The Secret Service announced the closure of the White House while emergency crews investigated the suspicious powder, ensuring there was no hazardous threat. The District of Columbia Fire Department was called in to assess the situation and confirm the substance’s safety. The Secret Service stated, “The item was sent for further evaluation, and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending.”

Hunter Biden has been the subject of media attention for quite some time now. Earlier, it was reported that he purportedly filmed himself smoking crack while driving at an extremely high speed enroute to Las Vegas, Nevada. According to reports, the leaked photo from 2018 showed Hunter, now 53 years old, holding a crack pipe and smoking it while driving through a residential area in Arlington, Virginia. Another photo depicted Hunter driving a Porsche at high speed, with messages on his discarded laptop suggesting the presence of multiple women waiting for him at a hot tub party.

Hunter has openly admitted to his drug addiction, specifically cocaine, during his college years. In his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” the 53-year-old admits his challenges of not even being able to resist taking a swig of vodka from a plastic jug.
