Bangkok: Under the leadership of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a public Ganesh festival was celebrated in Thailand, drawing thousands of participants to the vibrant event held at the Nimbutar Stadium in Bangkok. Devotees offered flowers, sweets, and aromatic spices to Lord Ganapati as they fervently prayed to seek His blessings.
Government ministry officials, embassy representatives, leaders of various associations, eminent personalities, and numerous others enthusiastically participated in the Ganeshotsavam. The festival was enriched by traditional dances and music from both India and Thailand, enhancing the cultural experience for all attendees.
In addition to the festivities, the event featured an art competition, an eco-friendly cooking fair, and a market showcasing a diverse array of handicrafts, clothing, and souvenirs. The Ganesha idol was immersed in a vibrant procession, accompanied by traditional Thai dance performances, adding a colorful and cultural touch to the ritual.
