Tel Aviv: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have once again issued a warning to the residents of northern Gaza to move south as the military is transitioning to the next phase of the conflict. IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, in a video posted on the Israel Defense Forces Twitter profile, also asserted that Hamas militants use civilians as human shields.
Hagari stated, “Civilians in northern Gaza, particularly in Gaza City, should temporarily relocate south of Wadi Gaza to a safer area where they can access water, food, and medicine.”

He further mentioned that on the following day (Monday), “humanitarian efforts to Gaza, led by Egypt and the United States, will be expanding,” without providing additional details.
Hagari emphasized that Israel is engaged in a conflict it did not initiate or seek and that their fight is specifically against Hamas, not the people of Gaza. He accused Hamas of using Gazans as human shields and operating within civilian structures because they are aware that the IDF distinguishes between militants and civilians.
Israel eliminated multiple Hamas militants in its recent attack, and numerous underground facilities were also obliterated.
