Jerusalem: Seven individuals were injured and two terrorists were killed in a shooting incident in East Jerusalem, Israel. Here, Israeli security forces clashed with assailants near a bus stop on Weizmann Road, close to the entrance to Jerusalem. It is indicated that the terrorists are from Palestine.
“A short while ago, a report was received regarding gunfire on the entrance road to Jerusalem (towards the central station) with several casualties.
Both suspects involved in the shooting were neutralised on the spot. Large police forces are en route to the scene.” Israel Police wrote in “X.”
The attackers were identified as brothers Murad Namr, aged 38, and Ibrahim Namr, aged 30, hailing from East Jerusalem. The Shin Bet security agency disclosed their affiliation with Hamas and their previous involvement in terrorist activities.
