Jadeja’s stellar performance propelled Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to victory, securing their fifth title in a thrilling match against the Gujarat Titans. The post-match celebrations witnessed an emotional scene as MS Dhoni was seen lifting Jadeja in a joyous embrace.
Reflecting on this heartfelt moment, Jadeja described it as special, with a smile, noting that perhaps after Sakshi Bhabi, Dhoni picked him up, thus highlighting the significance of the gesture.
Meanwhile, Sameer Rizvi, the talented new finisher at CSK, shared his experience of meeting Dhoni and conversing with him. Upon being included in the CSK team, Sameer Rizvi expressed his happiness, realizing that his biggest dream was about to be fulfilled. Spending time with Dhoni at the nets proved to be a valuable learning experience for him.
In a video released by the IPL, Sameer Rizvi recounted Dhoni’s advice to play in the IPL like one would in regular domestic tournaments. He emphasised that there’s no significant difference and that the technique remains the same.
