With a personal record of 89.94 meters, Neeraj Chopra stated that he is aiming to achieve his goal by throwing the javelin to 90 meters. Neeraj Chopra’s journey includes significant victories at prestigious events like the Asian Games, Asian Championship, Diamond League, Commonwealth Games, and World Championship.
Neeraj Chopra, who clinched gold at the Tokyo Olympics, faces stiff competition from top athletes like the Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch, who clinched silver at the Tokyo Olympics, and former world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada. However, with the Diamond League featuring the best players worldwide, Neeraj Chopra remains focused on his goal.
Neeraj Chopra will commence his training at the Gloria Sports Arena in Antalya, Turkey this week. He will be accompanied by his coach, Dr. Klaus Bartonietz, a biomechanics expert, and his physiotherapist, Ishaan Marwaha.
