New Delhi: After a historic win, shuttler PV Sindhu was given a grand welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at midnight on Tuesday amid large fanfare for her World Championships triumph.
“I’d like to thank everyone, thanks to all my fans for blessings. I will work harder and get many more medals. A much-awaited win, missed it 2 times but I finally did it,” PV Sindhu said.
Sindhu is slated to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju today.
