New York: Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal defeated Italy’s Matteo Berrettini 7-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the semi-final match and eneterf the finals o fthe ongoing US Open on Friday.
This would be Nadal’s 19th Grand Slam if he manages to win US Open. “Very happy to be back into the final of the US Open,” Nadal said.
Nadal will now play against Russian opponent Daniil Medvedev in the finals of the tournament on Sunday.
Medvedev had defeated Grigor Dimitrov to enter the finals of the tournament 7-6,6-4,6-3.
