Doha: In the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Qatar, USA’s Christian Coleman won the gold medal after he reached the finishing line in 9.76 seconds.
This timing is the fastest 100m sprint of the year and the sixth-fastest of all time, CNN reported. However, Usain Bolt’s 9.58 seconds sprint remain to be the world record.
American Justin Gatlin bagged silver medal while Canadian Andre De Grasse won a bronze medal.
