The Indian women’s archery team clinched a bronze medal in the recurve team event. The triumphant trio of Ankita Bhakat, Simranjeet Kaur, and Bhajan Kaur showcased exceptional prowess as they secured victory over Vietnam. The Indian women dominated the recurve section, securing a decisive 6-2 triumph, marking a significant achievement in the ongoing sporting spectacle.
The Indian wrestler, Bajrang Punia , advanced to the quarterfinals after securing a victory over Ronil Tubog from the Philippines. Subsequently, in the semi-finals, the Indian squad emerged victorious against Nepal with an impressive scoreline of 61-17.
