Bangkok: In a thrilling game, the Indian women’s archery team secured victory in the compound category at the Asian Archery Championship. Facing off against Chinese Taipei, the trio of Jyoti Surekha, Aditi, and Parneet Kaur emerged as champions with a close scoreline of 234-233. This marks their second consecutive win, the first being in 2017.
The Indian trio, Aditi , Parneet Kaur, and Jyoti Surekha , currently holds the top spot globally as the reigning Asian Champions, Asian Games Champions, and World Champions.
The Indian contingent’s stellar performance in the championship has earned them a total of seven medals, including three gold, three bronze, and one silver.
