Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the inclusion of Keralite player Minnumani in the 16-member squad for the upcoming Twenty20 series against Australia. The series is set to kick off on January 5, with matches scheduled at DY Patil Stadium on January 5, 7, and 9 in Mumbai.
Minnumani, who previously showcased her talent as a captain for the Indian A team, has earned her spot on the national team once again. The dynamic cricketer has made a mark with her stellar performances, particularly representing Delhi in the women’s Indian Premier League (IPL).
The T20I Squad: Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia (wk), Richa Ghosh (wk), Amanjot Kaur, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Saika Ishaque, Renuka Singh Thakur, Titas Sadhu, Pooja Vastrakar, Kanika Ahuja, and Minnu Mani
BCCI also disclosed the squad for the three-match ODI series against Australia, slated for December 28, 30, and January 2 at Wankhede Stadium
