New Delhi: Renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has addressed recent media reports regarding his earnings from his official Instagram handle, stating that the figures presented are “not true.”
With a staggering following of approximately 256 million users, Kohli ranks among India’s and the world’s most prominent sports personalities in terms of his online presence. This widespread popularity positions him as a highly sought-after figure for numerous brands, often engaging in brand promotions and advertisements on his social media platforms. The curiosity surrounding his earnings from promotional posts has long intrigued his fanbase.
Recent media publications had claimed that Kohli’s earnings ranged from Rs. 9 crore to Rs. 15 crore per promotional post through his social media accounts. However, the cricket star has now clarified that these figures do not accurately reflect his actual earnings from Instagram.
