Ranchi: Former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni has taken legal action against two officials of Aarka Sports Management. The case, filed in 2017, pertains to a breach of contract related to the Cricket Academy. Dhoni has accused Aarka Sports management officials, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas, of embezzling Rs. 15 crore rupees by violating the terms of the contract.
A legal action has been initiated in a lower court against two directors of Aarka Sports, a sports management company. Dayanand Singh, representing Dhoni, has confirmed the filing of a criminal case on behalf of the cricketer in a court in Ranchi . The case is directed against Aarka Sports directors Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas, invoking Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Back in 2017, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas entered into an agreement with Dhoni to operate a global cricket academy. However, Dhoni alleges that they breached the contract by not sharing the money as stipulated.
