Ranchi: Captain Cool has begun preparations for the new season, leading fans to speculate that this might be his final IPL campaign. However, Dhoni’s close friend, Paramjit Singh, offered a different perspective, asserting that the 42-year-old cricketer is still in excellent shape and is likely to continue playing in the seasons to come.

Paramjit Singh said that he don’t think that 2024 will be his last season for MS Dhoni, while highlighting Dhoni’s enduring fitness and passion for the game. He added that with Dhoni’s reassurance and his endorsement, fans can look forward to witnessing the legendary captain’s leadership on the cricket field once again after 2024.

Amidst speculations surrounding the retirement of Chennai Super King’s iconic captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the veteran cricketer has firmly stated his intention to continue playing in the upcoming Indian Premier League ( IPL) season. Also known as ‘Captain Cool’, Dhoni quashed retirement rumours by affirming his commitment to the sport.

Despite facing injuries during the previous season, Dhoni is expected to return fully fit for the forthcoming IPL. His decision to prolong his cricket career comes as no surprise, given his previous statements regarding retirement,  saying “definitely not” to retirement. After leading the Chennai Super Kings to a record-equalling fifth IPL title in 2023, many anticipated Dhoni to bid farewell to the sport, but he chose to continue playing.
