Thiruvananthapuram: OnePlus has officially announced the launch date of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Nord CE 4 5G, in Bharat. Scheduled for release on April 1, the device is anticipated to make a significant impact in the Indian market, particularly in the Rs. 30,000 price segment, where it will compete with recently launched smartphones like the Nothing Phone 2a, Realme 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Even before its official launch, OnePlus has been gradually revealing key specifications of the Nord CE 4. Among these reveals is the inclusion of 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging, promising lightning-fast charging capabilities.
Furthermore, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE 4 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a notable upgrade from its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord CE 3, which featured the Snapdragon 782 chipset.
Recent Geekbench listings have provided additional insights into the device’s performance, with model number CPH2613 showcasing impressive single-core and multi-core scores. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset is expected to feature an octa-core configuration, with clock speeds varying across performance and efficiency cores.
The Nord CE 4 5G will also offer up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample storage capacity for users. Additionally, the smartphone will support up to 1TB of expandable storage via microSD card.
