Realme unveils P series smartphones in Indian Market

Thiruvananthapuram: Realme, a well-known smartphone brand, has introduced its latest lineup exclusively for the Indian market, named the P series. The ‘P’ in the series denotes “Power,” signalling a strong emphasis on performance. The company has revealed the names, key specifications, and launch dates of these highly anticipated smartphones.

The upcoming Realme P series comprises two models: the Realme P1 5G and the Realme P1 Pro 5G. These devices are poised to offer high performance at affordable price points, ranging from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000.

According to information available on the Realme website, the Realme P1 Pro 5G will boast a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness level of 2000 nits. Notable features will include rainwater touch, ProXDR support, and TUV certification. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the device will integrate a 3D VC cooling system for efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, users can expect a robust 5000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.

Realme has set up a dedicated product page on its website, providing detailed insights into the unique features of the smartphones. The official launch event is scheduled for April 15, 2024, at 12 p.m. in Bharat.

The Realme P1 5G is expected to be priced below Rs. 15,000, while the Realme P1 Pro 5G is anticipated to fall under the Rs. 20,000 mark. These smartphones have been meticulously designed to cater to the specific needs of Indian users, encompassing design, specifications, features, and other aspects.
