Smartphone Company, OnePlus has announced that they will start selling their own foldable phone from later this year. The launch of the new phone was confirmed during the Mobile World Conference (MWC) 2023.
Although a specific launch date is not yet finalised, several leaks of the phone are circulating in social media for a few days and this announcement confirms it.
Reports suggest that OnePlus has trademarked two names, “OnePlus V Fold” and “OnePlus V Flip” which speculates that OnePlus may release two new phones, one with a horizontal flip design and the other with a clamshell like design, but OnePlus has not released any information regarding this.
Rumours suggest that the phone is set to release in the month of August. As of now, the foldable Smartphone market is dominated by Samsung, Motorola and Oppo.
OnePlus also introduced the concept of OnePlus 11, which claims to have redefined the industry standard with a new active cooling technology – Active Cryoflex.
OnePlus 11 will be supported by Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform and accelerated ray tracing hardware to enhance the entertainment experience. It is also said to have a new sensory experience within the OnePlus ecosystem.
