Samsung enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the upcoming “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S23 series. Initial speculations hinted at its debut during the Galaxy Unpacked event; however, a recent report from a tipster suggests that the device may be unveiled either by the end of this year or in early 2024.
According to a report by 9To5Google, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is anticipated to be priced similarly to the Google Pixel 7. Notably, the premium variants of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series are priced at $799 in the U.S. In contrast, MySmartPrice, a reputable media publication, suggests that the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could hit the market with a price tag of $599, potentially offering a substantial $100 price reduction if these predictions hold true.
Numerous media reports have also indicated that the upcoming “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S23 series might come equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, specifically in the Canadian and U.S. markets. The device is expected to feature a 6.4-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a variable refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1450 units.
In terms of storage, the smartphone is rumoured to boast 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The camera setup is expected to be impressive, comprising a triple-camera arrangement led by a 50MP OIS primary camera sensor, accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens.
Battery-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is speculated to house a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. This combination should offer users a robust and enduring battery experience.
