Thiruvananthapuram: Realme has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the Realme 12 Pro 5G, in Bharat. The device boasts a powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and a triple rear camera setup.
Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset built on a 4nm (nanometer) architecture, the Realme 12 Pro 5G claims an impressive score of 5,90,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED curved display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. Notable display features include a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother user experience.
The standout feature of the Realme 12 Pro is its camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX 882 lens as the primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Additionally, the device features a dedicated 32MP telephoto lens with OIS, offering 2x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. Completing the trio is an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens.
Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, which can be fully charged in just around 28 minutes with the 67W SUPERVOOC charger included in the box. The smartphone runs on Android 14 out of the box, based on Realme UI 5.0.
The Realme 12 Pro 5G comes in two colour options: Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige. It will be available in two storage variants: 8GB RAM/128GB storage priced at Rs. 25,999 and 8GB RAM/256GB storage priced at Rs. 26,999. The smartphone is set to go on sale on Flipkart and Realme.com on February 6th at noon.
