Thiruvananthapuram: iQOO is gearing up to launch its premium mid-range smartphone, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, in Bharat today. The device is poised to challenge competitors like the recently launched OnePlus 12R, offering similar specifications at a lower price point.

According to reports, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant. However, with a bank discount of Rs. 3, 000, the price is slated to drop to Rs. 34,999.

Ahead of its official launch, iQOO has revealed several key specifications of the Neo 9 Pro. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with a Q1 supercomputing chipset, to deliver an enhanced gaming experience. Additionally, it will sport a 50MP IMX 920 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

iQOO has also assured consumers of 3 years of operating system (OS) updates and 4 years of security patches, similar to its competitor, the OnePlus 12R. The Neo 9 Pro is expected to run on the Funtouch 14 OS based on Android 14.

The device is anticipated to feature a robust 5,160mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, as revealed on an Amazon landing page. Notably, the 120W charger will be a PD charger, allowing users to fast-charge other compatible devices at speeds of up to 65W.
